Our Optometrists are Therapeutic Optometrists & Glaucoma certified. They specialize in Routine eye care, Contact lens and gas permeable fittings, Bi-focal contact lens fitting, Kerotoconus fittings, Ortho-K fittings and Vision Therapy.

Our Doctors work very closely with NUVISION, TLC and VISO LASIK MEDSPA centers co-managing Lasik procedures which includes pre –op and post -op care.

Dr. Carl Elder

Edward Carl Elder, OD is from San Antonio and is a graduate of Oliver Wendell Holmes High School.

He received a BS degree from the University of Houston in 1981 in Biology. He received his Doctor of Optometry degree in 1985 from the University of Houston College of Optometry.

Edward Carl Elder, OD is a member of the Bexar County Optometric Association, and the American Optometric Assoc. Edward Carl Elder, OD is a member of the Bexar County Optometric Association, American Optometric Assoc., the Texas Optometric Association. He is married to Bonnie, who is Chief Counsel at Via Metropolitan Transit and has one daughter Marissa, who is currently in middle school.

In his spare time Edward Carl Elder, OD likes to spend time with his family and friends, skiing, golfing and "talking sports"!
